Jackie will share with you how she captures the hearts and minds of children. She will share her theories on children’s photography, and give you tons of tips and tricks. Through lighting and posing, and Photoshop techniques she will teach you how to create images of children with style. Andrew will share with you sales techniques and how to implement many different products that will keep your children’s clientele coming back. They will also share great marketing ideas that will get people in your door.
Andrew and Jackie love what they do, and they hope to inspire you to dream about the possibilities that would take your studio to the next level.
Biography: Andrew and Jackie operate a custom design
portrait studio in St. Johns Michigan. Together
they have developed one of the most successful
studios in Michigan. They have also both
dedicated much of there time to help better the
photography industry. When they are not busy
with photography they each enjoy spending time
with their respective families.
Both Andrew and Jackie have earned degrees
presented by the Professional Photographers of
America. Also they have both been very
successful in State and National Print
Competitions. They have been honored with Top
Seven Photographers in Michigan many times over
the past years. Andrew was awarded
Photographer of the Year in the state of
Michigan in 2005 and 2007. He has also been the
recipient of the ASP Bronze Medallion as well as
placing second in the Kodak Gallery Elite Award.
Both have been published in PPA Loan Collection
as well as Showcase books. They have been
honored with the PPA International Photographer
of the Year. But more importantly, they have
established wonderful relationships, loyalty and
trust with their clients. That is the best reward
you can have.
Serving on many boards Andrew and Jackie have
been honored with Service Awards from the
Professional Photographers of Michigan. They
have also been recognized by the Michigan
Triangle of Professional Photographers for their
Outstanding Service. Andrew currently serves as
a Councilor for the Professional Photographers of
America, and is recognized as a National Affiliated
Juror. Jackie is currently serving on the Board of
Directors for the Michigan Triangle of
Professional Photographers. She has been
instrumental in the development of the SNAP
(Shoot. Network. Apply. Profit.) program. They
also are a part of the Burrell Coulour Imaging
Mentor program.
